Process Safety Management for Semiconductor
Manufacturer
Providing long-term, on-site environmental, health and safety consulting
services at this semiconductor manufacturing facility.
EES coordinates process environmental and safety evaluations of
process equipment to help ensure that the equipment has appropriate
safety features and is installed in compliance with federal and
state environmental, health and safety regulations. Since 1997,
we have completed over 100 environmental and safety evaluations,
which typically include the following tasks:
| •
|
Assess the level of environmental,
health and safety risk posed by the equipment and assign a
risk classification. |
| •
|
Initiate and coordinate review meeting(s),
attended by process engineers; facility engineers; environmental,
health and safety specialists; plant inspectors; maintenance
technicians; and equipment manufacturers. |
| •
|
Document and communicate the results
of the reviews. |
| •
|
Close-out the review based on the completion
of action items and the successful prove-in of the equipment. |
Preparedness, Prevention, and Contingency (PPC) Plan for Electronic Gas Manufacturer
Prepared a PPC plan for an electronic gas manufacturer. The
work included the documentation of current facility equipment and
operating procedures and the development of new spill prevention
and response procedures.
EES also prepared and submitted completed applications for a General
